Working with a developer just got easier.
You Want A Custom Website Just For Your Business.
Imagine a company that listens to your wish-list, that will take your ideas and turns them into a vision of your company that inspires you. Designing a website is part gibberish (code) and part magic (graphics) that all blend together to make your company shine!
1. Most maintenance or updates can take less than 30 minutes
If a website is constructed correctly, then 90% of maintenance updates are easy peasy. If you’re being billed hourly, there may be a few things you can do to reduce that hourly rate.
Gather all your updates into one single update. Instead of sending five separate emails over five or more separate days, compile them to send all at one time. It’s possible that your developer can do them all at once, which will make your invoice an hour or two worth of work instead of five-plus hours.
2. Hosting is not very expensive
Hosting is relatively cheap…especially for a small business/informational website of less than 25 pages. If you don’t have a lot of heavy programs, or a shopping cart then really you shouldn’t be paying a lot. Most of our small business websites pay us between $300 – $500 a year for hosting.
Our rates rarely change, and we take care of security (SSL Certificates) Malware prevention, and backups.
3. It’s possible to update your own website
Our websites are built so that most of our clients can make small edits, updates, or blog themselves. We offer short training videos for them at the completion of the project and since we provide backup on our hosted sites, you don’t have to stress or worry that you are going to “break” something or “crash” the site!
3. Your website needs to be constructed correctly to get found on search engines
In our industry, designers and developers and marketers are all specialty fields. Not all web designers know and understand the intricacies of Search Engine Optimization. We are somewhat of a unicorn in our industry, we have web designers, developers, and search and marketing professionals all working for the same company.
We definitely do want you to have a beautiful website, but we know the real value is in having a website that gets visitors and converts them into customers.
3. Your web designer might not be an actual web designer
There is a lot of grey area in our industry. We have seen everything from part-time virtual assistants that create websites, all the way to full-stack coders who can achieve complicated feats of brilliance! We pride ourselves on continuing our knowledge and growing in our skills, and by employing diverse well-rounded developers that can work through many challenging projects.
Feel free to ask us about some of our more complicated projects, we are happy to provide referrals of businesses we work with.
